Social networks, communities of practice, blogging, wikis and even old-fashioned online bulletin board systems are all supposed to facilitate communication and more rapid knowledge transfer. While these technologies hold a significant amount of promise, the key is to gather enough critical mass of participations to make these tools worth using.

Since its founding in 1980, Management Roundtable has been connecting real world practitioners with subject matter experts.  We are currently experimenting with various technologies to enable more practitioner to practitioner interaction and knowledge sharing. The eventual goal is to embed that vibrant community right here in this space, but for now we would like to encourage you to participate in the following experiments.

MRTPlusMRT Plus is based on a “private label” social network platform. This site features blogs, conference updates, discussion forums, videos and more focused on topics such as lean product development, roadmapping, metrics and more.

The Open Innovation Community

The Open Innovation community is another "private label" social network that is solely on Open Innovation. This site will feature community generated content that will help grow the Open Innovation body of knowledge. Please be sure to visit this site -- and be sure to contribute.

We welcome your input in this process. We want to make something that people will find valuable and time efficient. Please feel free to contact us with your suggestions and comments.
